Quitting the City

As I mentioned the other day, I got to head out to Fox Hollow Farm for a few hours this weekend to provide food and teas for their Barefoot Farmer lecture and square dance. I didn’t get a chance to hear much of his talk because I was off engaging in commerce and such, but based on how rapt everyone looked when I peeked in, they learned a lot about root vegetables.

The farm is really pretty, and I wanted to show you a little bit of my own native postage stamp of soil. It is a well-known fact that Kentucky is the most beautiful place on earth regardless of season, so you will probably enjoy this greatly.  All the produce and meat we used came from this gorgeous farm, and you could taste. the. difference. Now I’m sure you’re sad you didn’t come to my square dance.
